Solution to Gladiator Beast w/ Shrink

Came across this combo while thinking about how to deal with the above problem since my friend runs Shrink in Gladiator Beasts.

Put Stardust in Defense. :\

Or drop Thought Ruler. :\

    There are easy solutions to get past a Stardust in DEF mode, Thought Ruler not so much but it's possible.
